Suspend a process

Windows can suspend the execution of processes. This feature can be useful, for example, if you want to suspend a countdown in an application, without terminating it.

You just have to open the Resource Monitor (resmon.exe) → “Processor” Tab, and you just have to right click on the process you want to suspend and choose “Suspend Process”.
